Acupuncture

Duties and responsibilities:

Unlike conventional Western medical practice, acupuncture professionals are trained to treat the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They take into account a patient's physical, mental and emotional condition in order to determine the proper course of treatment. In addition to providing acupuncture therapy, practitioners help their patients achieve balance and wellness in their everyday live.

Salary: $41,100 - $144,380.

Education: Many of the acupuncturist degrees available are at the master's and doctoral levels. Master's degree programs typically take 3-4 years to complete and equip students with the diagnostic and therapeutic skills needed to practice acupuncture as a primary source of healthcare. Curricula focus on acupuncture methods as well as other Oriental and Western medicines. Students may take courses like herbal medicine, needle technique, acupuncture points and biomedicine.

Reflection: I don't want to be one because I’m afraid of needles and it's a complicated job so I would not like to be one. 

Optician

Duties and Responsibilities: Opticians are responsible for fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses by following prescriptions that are written by optometrists or ophthalmologists. Opticians also examine prescriptions in order to determine lens specifications.

Salary: $26,000 - $50,000

Education: High school diploma with on-the-job training or apprenticeship; or certificate, associate's degree or bachelor's degree in opticianry for career advancement

Reflection: I would not like to be an optician because I’m not interested in being an optician and because I think that I’m not would be a  good optician.

This year is my firts year on Linda Marquez High  School and its pretty grat because is a new school with new friends and i hope this year would be awesome , my best friend lesly contreras wold be here next year because she move to mexico so i hope i see her next year i miss her and i talk to her just on weekends she said that she want to come back but she cant for her family i know her from middle shool three wonderful years to know her i hope she come back.
