Medical scientist
Duties and responsibilities: Medical scientists conduct research aimed at improving overall human health. They often use clinical trials and other investigative methods to reach their findings.
Salary:The lowest 10 percent earned less than $41,340, and the top 10 percent earned more than $146,650.
Education: The end educational goal for a medical scientist is typically a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological Sciences, although some medical scientists choose to get a medical degree, such as the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), instead. Before this, they acquire an undergraduate education by attaining a bachelor's degree in biology or in a medical health related major.
Demand for this profession: Employment of medical scientists is projected to grow 13 percent between 2012 and 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations.
Reflection: i would like to be one because i would like to help people but in a different way helping search cures and all that and i would like to be a medical scientist.
