Otolaryngologist
Duties and responsibilities:
Otolaryngologists diagnose and manage diseases of the ears,
nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), mouth, and throat, as well as structures of
the neck and face.
Salary: $224,063 to $400,336.
Education: Board certification is valid for 10 years. To revalidate their
certification, ENTs must meet guidelines established by the American Board of
Medical Specialties and complete a Maintenance of Certification Program. This
process emphasizes professional standing, lifelong learning and
self-assessment, cognitive expertise and evaluation of performance in practice.
Reflection: I’m pretty sure that I
would like to be one since I was 8 years old I want to be a Otolaryngologist ,
I know a person that is an otolaryngologist and I don’t know why I always
wanted to be one and it’s one of my goal be one ,This specialist caught my
attention and I love it do surgeries of nose’s
and thought this is a very interesting job , when I was like almost 8
years old , Sergio Melendez a otolaryngologist , made me a surgery of throat and at that age I always want to be
one i don't know why him inspired me to be one and I would .
