“A promise must never be broken”.
-Alexander hamilton
Reflection:this quote means that if you promise something you have to do it because if you promise that means that you are actually going to do it and a promise must never be broken, i’m agree with the quote because if you promise something if you said your going to do it you have to because people who broke their promises are liars and you can’t trust them anymore if they broke a promise before you can’t trust them because if they broke a promise before what makes you think their going to do it this time , you can’t trust a dishonest person a person without integrity and without honesty.

Registered Nurse
Duties and responsibilities: Every nursing job is a little different in terms of the responsibilities you have to fulfill. Nurse practitioners are certified to do a lot more with patients than registered nurses or licensed vocational nurses. Nevertheless, the goals of all nursing jobs are the same in the end. These include:
images (1).jpg
  • Administering medications
  • Recording medical histories and other patient records
  • Monitoring patients
  • Helping injured or disabled patients with routine tasks (bathing, using the restroom, etc.)
  • Assisting doctors and other nurses with patient care
As you can see, a typical nursing job is focused on patient care from start to finish. Some nurses are more interactive with patients than others, and some only work with specific kinds of patients. You will need to figure out what type of nursing job you want to have to learn which responsibilities you will have.
Salary: total pay of $43,403 - $83,171
Education: Nursing students may choose from a variety of education options to become a registered nurse. Some teaching hospitals offer 3-year diploma programs in nursing; however, these programs are rare. Most RNs earn associate degrees or bachelor's degrees in nursing.
Demand for this profession: Employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 16 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations. Growth will occur for a number of reasons, including an increased emphasis on preventive care; growing rates of chronic conditions, such as diabetes and obesity; and demand for healthcare services from the baby-boom population, as they live longer and more active lives.

Reflection: i wouldn't like to be one because i prefer to be more like a doctor and work with patients and everything , in my opinion i think that registered nurse is boring just checking patients and administering medications i would like to do more than that like do surgeries and be a doctor because a nurse is more like the helper and for me a doctor has more important duties and more pay,  :)

Recreation therapist
Duties and responsibilities: Recreation therapists assist patients in leisure activities to engage and improve their minds, bodies and spirits. Their goal is to help patients adjust to life with a disease, injury or disability.

These are typically Bachelor of Science programs that teach students to both understand their patients' conditions and engage those patients physically and mentally to keep them refreshed. As an alternative to a therapeutic recreation study, some schools offer a bachelor's degree in recreation with a therapeutic concentration.
Demand for this profession: As noted by the BLS, in May 2013, recreational therapists earned a median annual salary of $43,180. Skilled nursing care facilities employed the largest number of recreational therapists at that time, followed by medical and surgical hospitals (BLS). Employment of recreational therapists was predicted to grow 13% from 2012-2022, according to the BLS.

“My basics principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap’ you don’t make them, because they are popular; you make them because they’re right.”
-Theodore Hesburgh
53b1444c16a41_theodore_hesburgh.jpgReflection: I think this quote is true and very important because we need to learn to do what's right not what’s popular or what’s cheap or just because it’s easy you are going to do it, and i’m agree with this quote because we have to understand that doing what’s right makes us better persons with integrity , equality, honesty, sincerity and kindness and a person with good character and all this things are more important than being popular or choosing what’s easy because the easiest ways are the ones who have repercussions and the hardest way it's what’s make you put more effort and fight for what you want and makes you a better person and you’re decisions determine your destiny so, if you for the easiest way the bad way your destiny is going to be bad but if you choose the right your destiny is going to be good.

“It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good. And unpopular that which is unsound”
-Joseph smith
Reflection:This quote means that  you have to concentrate and put your influence to make popular the things that are sound and good and make unpopular the things that are bad, i’m agree with the quote because like everyone is going to the bad things like drinking or drugs or things like that just because they’re popular but the things that need to be popular are the good things like doing sports or study groups or things like that instead of being with your friends smoking just because it’s popular and everyone is doing it but if everyone is doing it , it doesn’t mean that is right and just because you can doesn't mean you should just because it’s easy doesn't mean it’s worth your while. Do what’s right not what's easy..

Be true
“I am not bound to win, but i am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”
-Abraham Lincoln
reflection:I agree with this statement because of course you don’t want to be with the people who will choose bad decisions. Anyone who knows what good will is with those who are good. And this quote means that it’s better if you lose but you lose with truth that you didn’t cheat and it’s better to stand with people who is right, good people and not when he’s doing wrong so that’s why i agree with this quote because it doesn't matter if you lose, lose with integrity being honest isn’t better than winning because you cheat.

Photographer
Duties and responsibilities: Photographers use their technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills to produce and preserve images that visually tell a story or record an event
Salary: $20,578 - $89,960
Education: Although post secondary education is not required for portrait photographers, many take classes since employers usually seek applicants with a “good eye” and creativity, as well as a good technical understanding of photography. Photojournalists and industrial and scientific photographers often need a bachelor’s degree.
Demand on this profession: Employment of photographers is projected to grow 4 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Overall growth will be limited because of the decreasing cost of digital cameras and the increasing number of amateur photographers and hobbyists. Improvements in digital technology reduce barriers of entry into this profession and allow more individual consumers and businesses to produce, store, and access photographic images on their own.

“I trust my hard work will pay off”
-Tyler Haws

dt.common.streams.StreamServer.jpgReflection:i’m agree with this quote because when Tyler was in 3rd grade he got cut off from his basketball team. He was devastated he didn’t give up he keep trying everyday he would practice with his dad. And this quote helped him achieve his goal. And this quote shows how his hard work paid off because he was a good basketball player and all the hard work will pay off because he dedicate his time, his effort to practice and try as best as he can to be a good basketball player and i believe that everything you do and the hard you work it’s going to have good things and because if you do good , good things are going to happen to you and Tyler is the best example for that he didn’t born with a talent ,he work hard and he dedicate to have it so i’m agree this this quote because every hard work will pay off.

"The true independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right"
-Brigham Young
reflection: i'm agree with this quote because independence and freedom is only for those who choose the right and do the right thing and this quote means that if you want freedom you have to be a good person who choose the right and has a good character and a good name because character matters the most and for example if you're a bad person and you choose the wrong you're not going to have freedom maybe your going to jail for what you did or your mind doesn't let you be free, because you'll know that you did wrong and if you want to have independence you have to choose the right and be responsible.

"Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. in addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater don't do it"
-George Mitchell
reflection: What Mr. Mitchell is saying is that many people think that it is easy to take a short cut inside of going the long way to achieving your dreams. And also that using steroids is cheating and that nothing is worse in sports than a cheater. This quote means that everyone who cheats thinks that cheating is the short way to start to success your family or even yourself, but in real live cheating is the worst thing to start choosing the wrong way and if you cheat you’re a bad person and that you are not going to succeed in life because a cheater is worst than a looser and also This means to me that you can have shortcuts in your life but you can't win for those cheats because they will always follow you and never let you go. Don't cheat in a long term because you will get caught and regret doing that. And you will be recognize as a cheater.

April Fool’s Day
april-fools-day-calendar-icon-18788706.jpg
Is the first day of April
On this day in 1700, English pranksters begin popularizing the annual tradition of April Fools’ Day by playing practical jokes on each other.
Although the day, also called All Fools’ Day, has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures, its exact origins remain a mystery. Some historians speculate that April Fools’ Day dates back to 1582, when France switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar, as called for by the Council of Trent in 1563. People who were slow to get the news or failed to recognize that the start of the New Year had moved to January 1 and continued to celebrate it during the last week of March through April 1 became the butt of jokes and hoaxes. These included having paper fish placed on their backs and being referred to as “poisson d’avril” (April fish), said to symbolize a young, easily caught fish and a gullible person.
Pros:You get to prank people
Cons:If you prank people, you get pranked back
April Fools' Day, sometimes called All Fools' Day, is one of the most light-hearted days of the year. Its origins are uncertain. Some see it as a celebration related to the turn of the seasons, while others believe it stems from the adoption of a new calendar.
Historians have also linked April Fools’ Day to ancient festivals such as Hilaria, which was celebrated in Rome at the end of March and involved people dressing up in disguises. There’s also speculation that April Fools’ Day was tied to the vernal equinox, or first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, when Mother Nature fooled people with changing, unpredictable weather.maxresdefault.jpg
